AI Cost Firewall v0.5.1 is a focused security and maintenance release on top of the v0.5.0 production-hardening baseline.

Highlights​

  • updates the h2 dependency to a release containing the fix for RUSTSEC-2026-0258;
  • retains the v0.5.0 request-path, guard, cache, readiness, shutdown, and Audit-delivery behavior;
  • refreshes the Overview and Diagnostics Grafana dashboards;
  • keeps the OpenAI-compatible configuration and deployment model unchanged.

Compatibility notes​

  • No application API migration is required from v0.5.0.
  • Streaming chat completions remain unsupported and return HTTP 422.
  • Security Guard, Privacy Guard, and Audit remain optional integrations in this release.
  • Operators should rebuild or pull the v0.5.1 image rather than continuing to run the vulnerable dependency set from older images.
